Where Euphemia is concerned, lightening does strike in the same place twice…

Euphemia has accepted an invitation to Exposition Universelle in Ghent, Belgium – which unbeknown to anyone would be the last great gathering of the greatest minds of the time before the world plunged into World War I.
This time escorted by her own chaperone, Mrs Brown, Euphemia and Bertram reveal in the glorious exhibits on display – and in Bertram’s case also in the tea rooms. Nothing can possibly go wrong – until Mrs Brown is found dead with a confession that she is a terrorist, devoted to destroying science. Unable to believe this, and not wanting to be accused of transporting her into the country, Bertram, Euphemia and Rory, attempt to dig up the truth. Only to uncover yet around murder among the white washed villas for the Exposition.

What people are saying about A Death Overseas...

I'm never disappointed by Caroline Dunford's books. They're highly enjoyable period murder mysteries with an on going personal story for the main characters. The only issue is now I've got to wait for the next one!’ Goodreads five star review

‘I have read the whole Euphemia Martins series now and love the way the characters develop through the stories. I have laughed out loud several times, love the witty exchanges in conversation, love the way the characters are loosely intertwined with a history of the time. Thoroughly entertaining and light reading, and would recommend them as a fabulous set of books about the feisty Euphemia’s rise from house-maid to lady’s companion, solving several murders along the way.’ Amazon five star review
