Life doesn't always turn out for the best. Usually, when you stare deep inside the soul of the void, you see life as dull and boring. And the more you dwell in its shroud of darkness, coming back becomes almost impossible.

I lingered for years with a cruel addiction that crippled everything I once held dear. Battling depression wasn't as bad as he bone fracturing shakes or what followed after the black outs that came with it. Life had become an explosive mix of adulterated alcohol, cocaine, and strangers.

Having hit rock bottom, I searched for help and found it in an unlikely set of people. I had almost given up; life had reached a deeper hell than the conditions that contained me. But through the darkness a light bled through. It was a single ray of hope that meant total salvation. I walked into a room filled with mirrors, because everyone inside was a reflection of my true self.
