This story takes place around Ruby, a seven-year-old energetic little girl; Brad, the four-year-old little brother, and then there is Mom and Dad. The day of the promised Halloween party for all the little kids has arrived. As Ruby wakes up first thing in the morning, Mom tells her that the party will be later that night. As the day goes on and night approaches, goodies are made, Vulture Punch is poured, and witch hats and pirate costumes are thrown around the childrens rooms.
