You’re about to learn the story of Deepu, also known as D-Man. Can a twelve-year-old boy save the world? Unlikely...unless he has the help of alien technology, some very special friends and a lot of quick thinking. While many superheroes work alone, D-Man has the support of a loving family and a close-knit group of friends. When the universe faces a threat to its very existence, the mischievous Deepu is the last person you’d think would step up to defend it. But when he’s chosen, we follow his struggles as he learns to put others before himself.

I think every kid will be able to relate to Deepu, an ordinary boy who is given extraordinary powers, but still wants to be a good friend, brother and son. The story of D-Man is about a kid who never gives up, even when facing an evil villain like Dark Soul. And he learns that even superpowers are useless if you don’t treat others with respect and use your intelligence to solve problems.

While there are some dark themes in D-Man’s story, like human experimentation, deforestation and terrorist attacks, I hope the readers are able to enjoy the lighter moments like Deepu’s pranks, his unlikely friendship with an exotic bird, and his attempts to drive his teachers crazy.
