Empty Pages is the second poetry collection published by Franklin Ovie Ejemutah. It contains fifty poems in five sections. The poems reflect the writer's block, pain, anger, depression, love, friendship and faith.

Unlike the first collection, I made an effort to reduce the length of the poems - trying to say as much as I can with as few words as possible. So you will find the poems are mainly sixteen or twenty lines with only a few going beyond that.

Why Empty Pages? It does seem to be an intriguing book title, doesn't it? And also, it reminds me that I often found myself staring down an empty page while trying to write a poem. In trying to improve my style and contents - and avoid criticism, I often discarded lines that looked boring, cheesy or cliched.

The result is a book written to impress readers while maintaining a sincere portrayal of the feelings that are reflected in each poem.
