Lucky: Tosh, a highly chauvinistic young man, reflects that his girlfriend isn’t taking the right attitude.
Josephina: A young woman accountant attends a formal induction to her professional association.
Andrew and Julie: the two take to the road. Hope and fear. How will it turn out?

These five short stories share the theme of delusion. They are set in time frames ranging from 1960 to the present, in Scotland and England. But who is it that is deluded? Perhaps delusion is universal.
