"Are you going to ignore me?"

"You big jerk."

Mateo laughed aloud again, another jingle hitting the air before he leaned over to try and urge Trevor's head up with his lips.

It worked for the baby blues jerked up, tucked within a face as red as the Sloth's ribbon again. They found the light browns lingering above him a moment before his partner pulled back and settled into a sit on the bed. That was when he saw the rest, and Trevor let out a small noise of defeat. Too much. There had been a talk once, a joke really, started by Mateo's Dad of his son putting a collar on his bird. Mateo had laughed it off, but him? Oh, well, he'd thought over just how strange a collar would be on a bird ... but on a cat well that was completely different. He'd mentioned it once in teasing, and apparently, Mateo had taken it to heart. Why? Here was his fully clothed boyfriend decked out in a pair of fuzzy, black, Maine Coon ears and tail ... with a fucking collar in his hand. Trevor shifted, eyeing the collar with starry eyes. It was fitting really: black leather held together with an O-ring on the front and a silver bell attached to the ring as a charm. Fitting for a cat.
