Harry Stromberg was a prominent Mafioso of the 1930s in Washington, DC, Philadelphia and New York. A Jewish gangster, he later sought exile in Israel. Aka "Nig Rosen", he was aligned with several gambling/fight promoter personalities. Among these were Frank "Blinky" Palermo of Philadelphia and "Muggsy" Taylor of Washington, DC. Stromberg made two appearances before the Kefauver/U.S. Senate Committee investigating organized crime. He offered testimony during hearings in November 1950 and February 1951. My e-book also looks at the backgrounds of several Stromberg lieutenants, i.e. Raymond Boyne, Marco Reginelli, Pasquale C. Massi and Phil DiPietro.
