Hi! My name is Rebecca and I am 11 years old. I am writing a book on my transition process from elementary (primary) to high (secondary) school and I have spent so much time writing this book. The reason I have written this book is to help pupils who are nervous, unsettled or having mixed feelings about moving into secondary/high school to be more confident, aim to be the best and give them some important information they may not get from anyone else. I received awesome feedback from adults and children who read some or all parts of this book. This book is also for parents who need to kick off a discussion around this topic with their child.
A section of this book is a survey where many children and adults share their experiences of the time spent in high school and what they would love to change if given a second chance. The book shows the common feelings by primary school pupils and how they could deal with any negative feelings. The book has riddles included, a brief explanation of subjects studied in secondary school and a word search section. I loved every moment of writing it and I'll definitely like you to love every moment of reading it.
