Whether I'm walking through the mountains in Dazio, taking in the sun on the shores of Lake Como, or strolling through cities like Milan and Rome, Italy has always had a special place in my heart.

A country with warm locals eager to welcome you with countless bottles of wine and dinner table chat, Italy is known for passion, culture, and most importantly food!

If Italy had its own soundtrack you would hear laughter, boisterous conversation, church bells going off simultaneously with different tunes, Vespas driving by, and a street performer playing his old accordion.

Tourists taking a one week vacation, backpackers, travel enthusiasts, and everyone in between can all agree on one thing, Italy is the place to be.

Even in the middle of summer I have always said Italy has a different kind of heat; the kind of heat that lights a fire in your stomach, and leaves you with no question as to why Italians seem like some of the happiest people in the world (I'm sure the copious amounts of pasta, pizza, wine, and cheese help).
