(This is the third of three in series.)
Jesus teaches in John 10:30 that "The Father and I are one” but says in John 14:28 that ".... I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I.” Which one is it, then?
The complexities of the Christian faith lie in part on the apparent contradictions between Biblical verses. Pius M. Sumaktoyo found it difficult to just accept some teachings of the Church at face value. Relying on the confidence that God is good and that He will always guide him, Pius went on to re-think some of the Church’s teachings.
In the first phase of his endeavor, he wrestled with the question of reincarnation. In the second phase, he found that Jesus did teach reincarnation. He was also attracted by books in psychology and hypnosis on past life regression and the experience of the souls. Now, in the third phase, Pius is provoked by the difficulties in articulating the divinity of Jesus.
This book argues that Jesus is God, not only in the traditional Triune God theology but also well beyond that. It proposes a new approach to find and believe that Jesus is God, the true God and the end of an endless reincarnation.
