The koala is a small animal that lives in trees. It is a native animal of Australia.
The adult male Koala is called a buck. The adult female is called a doe. A young koala is a joey.
There are two types of koalas.
The southern koala is found around the state of Victoria and up to the bottom of New South Wales. Then there’s a sort of a gap between where koalas are found until you get to Queensland. These koalas are called the northern koalas and are a lot smaller.
