Looking at the main destructive components of PTSD, you will be shown simple but effective techniques and strategies on how to reclaim each piece that PTSD has so ruthlessly taken from you or a loved one.
You will be guided and supported through these very difficult times and gain a greater understanding of what and why things are happening and how to empower yourself to be the very best you can be. You will be inspired, motivated and encouraged to take on board the different means of overcoming the obstacles that stand in your path to a life of harmony, contentedness and peace.

I wrote this book in remembrance of the men and women who suffer from PTSD and who have lost their lives to PTSD. PTSD is a disorder that effects mood, destroys mental health and leads to horrific behavior changes. It is a type of mental illness that has multiple symptoms just as it is caused by a number of stressors. Looking at the psychology of Post traumatic stress disorder and receiving counselling to deal with a myriad of symptoms such as anxiety, delayed stress, flashbacks, nightmares, depression etc and each of these symptoms causes trauma not just to the sufferer but to their loved ones too. Getting help for PTSD involves not just the sufferer but the entire family who will work together to facilitate a recovery and to support the PTSD sufferer. PTSD is complex and so different symptoms may become prevalent at different times and in reponse to different stimuli. This book looks at different ways to rebuild a life shattered by PTSD.
