My book is written to reach seniors and children of seniors. Too many seniors are needlessly placed into nursing homes and then forgotten. They are not visited by family, especially their children on a regular basis and sometime not at all. Not all children are like this but too many are. In the book I try to cheer up the seniors in these nursing homes, give them encouragement on living their golden years and things they can still do that may not be thought of. Many seniors could be living at home with little if no care. People need to take more responsibility in caring for their senior parents. If I can inspire seniors to do things that will make them happy, then perhaps they won't be so depressed on where they live. i also hope to wake up those young people that placed their parents in a home or have that intention to not make that mistake. i do realize that some seniors need the care available in nursing homes but not the one's that can still function at home or living with their children.
