There have been reports over the past century of unusual beings who, legend has it, migrated from the ancient continent of Lemuria before it sank, and who now inhabit the far side of Mount Shasta. They live in a colony in a slightly higher dimension but appear outwardly on occasion to help others. However, over the past 30 years some psychics claim this colony is actually a city beneath the mountain whose ruler is Adama. He will supposedly lead this advanced race in teaching humanity when the Golden Age dawns.
Read also how people have come to believe that Jesus is now known as Sananda, a belief started by a former Mount Shasta resident, Sister Thedra. Before coming to Mount Shasta she lived on the Island of the Sun at Lake Titicaca in Peru, where she came to know Brother Philipp. Later, along with Charles Manson, she became the disciple of the charismatic Los Angeles guru, Krishna Venta, later assassinated by his followers. She and two other followers then moved to Mount Shasta and became the core of a group of local psychics who followed in the footsteps of Mother Mary Meier, who also channeled information about secret entrances into the Mountain where her followers would be safe during the coming political and earth changes.
