Lew Feldman is a largely unknown fighter who was a prominent boxer on the cards at Madison Square Garden and many New York City arenas in the era of the Great Depression. He was an aggressive fighter who mauled his opponents with punches. Feldman boxed many of the most prominent names in the lightweight and heavyweight divisions in the 1930s. Among these were Kid Chocolate and Henry Armstrong. My e-book features round-by-round coverage of many of the Jewish boxer's most written about fights. Lew was a most active boxer who boxed very frequently. Most of his fights were in New York City venues, but he also boxed in Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and St. Louis. I have included information from census records to say something about Feldman's family, i.e. his wife and her parents. Most of Lew's competitors are also seldom heard of today, although they were principal figures in the lightweight and= featherweight classes of their era. Most boxing enthusiasts will find much of the text fresh and new to their boxing passion!
