Lover’s Masquerade

Lovers behold many of masquerades when it comes to the ball of the heart. There they will hind behind the mask of society when love is taboo to their world. Hiding away their tears of blood, that flows in agony and dismay. Yet lovers will long for stolen moments of passion in a hidden world of shadows. Like these I bring to you here in this gathering of poems of the broken heart. I give you a look at love that redeems beyond the thoughts of the common man. As one will come to understand that love can be sweet it is always a bitter feat. So now I take you on the dance of a Lover’s Masquerade
