There is a season for everything. In this book, I want to share some nuggets of wisdom that God has given to me on my journey through separation and divorce. Many people have come to me on this path. Each one brought a different nugget at a specific time when I needed it. Father God knows when I need a song, a shoulder to cry or lean on, a listening ear, or a message that’s shared with me.

The purpose of writing Mourning into Dancing is to encourage and touch others with hope. If you are on a journey or in a season, keep your heart open to the people that God brings your way. They may have a nugget to share.

I want you to know that you are never alone in your darkness or despair. No matter how overwhelmed or helpless you may be, God is walking with you. Don’t push away God, or the people He brings, by thinking you can handle your situation on your own. Embrace the truths they bring. They have been specifically and strategically sent to you. You do not have to stay in your mourning season. You can move on and dance. You will laugh again.

So, grab your coffee, settle into a chair in the sunshine, and begin reading.
