Ruth Shepherd is a sweet middle aged lady who lives in a rather old fashioned town alive with children and wonderful friends and neighbors.. She and her husband had no children of their own, so her husband bought her dolls at Christmas and any other holidays throughout the years. These dolls became so beloved by this woman she kept them in a special room and took excellent care of them. When Ruth's husband passed away, the dolls became even more precious to her. Brenda Sheaffer and her girls moved to the town when Brenda's husband was promoted to a new job. As the family got acclimated to the town and met new people; Brenda became close friends with Ruth. Brenda had no idea that she and her two girls would become involved with a very evil niece of Ruth's, and in the end; just about save Ruth's life.
