NANOSECOND is a science fiction drama screenplay. A wrongfully-convicted man seeks criminal justice through the aid of time travel intervention by AI's holding him in a 30 year “stay of execution” for a diabolical purpose a thousand light years from Earth.

Set on a dystopian artificial planet where there is a “Garden of Eden” to enact the “diabolical purpose,” the man first surrenders to the task but gradually sees a way out of his imprisonment. What follows is an unlikely relationship between two very different species that come to respect one another in an unpredictable way. Romance is also in the cards as Joe falls in love with the girl of his dreams who is the focus of this “diabolical purpose.” But the romance complicates his plans as he realizes that he must save his new sweetheart as well. There are plenty of bizarre sci-fi twists and turns as the self-reliant hero attempts to use the AI’s advanced technology to find the real killer of his wife.
