The second book in the trilogy, Healing My Trauma*, contains the next step after understanding it, healing it. This book explores ways to deal with strong and numbing emotions, healing different types of trauma (including relational trauma), and ways to diminish or prevent trauma in the future It takes you one step further in the healing process.* This book also contains sixty short thoughts that can be used as daily reflective meditations

After learning to understand and heal the trauma, it is time to let go of the strong or numbing emotions that come with trauma. In the last book of the trilogy, Forgiveness-Letting***–*Go, you earn about what forgiveness is and is not, forgiveness with boundaries, consequences, restitution, and reconciliation. The book ends by discussing how trauma can bring gratitude, as strange as that may sound.

Audrey Tait brings her personal and professional experience to all of her writing in order to connect with her readers. She has a love of photography and has a master’s degree in Addiction Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics. She is a Canadian Certified Counsellor; Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, candidate; Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist, candidate; and Registered Dietitian, Alberta, Canada. In addition, she is a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association; College of Dietitians of Alberta; and the Alpha Chi Honors Society. She has specialized training in trauma, character, and developmental issues along with cognitive therapy. She is owner/president of Inspirational Insights Counselling, Inc., where therapy is offered to those seeking a deeper meaning in life.
