The Caretaker's Reprisal: A Hunter Mitchell Novel

Hunter “Mitch” Mitchell is a semi-retired private detective now working full-time as the caretaker at the Evergreen Yacht Club situated on the shores of Lake Lanier in the northeast Georgia town of New Edinburgh. After having survived several close calls in previous years, Mitchell experiences one of a parent’s worst nightmares when he learns that his son Kroy, and his girlfriend Erin, have been viciously attacked while they are away at college in Montana.
Wasting no time, he, along with his longtime girlfriend Lacy, sets off to Montana to try and find the one responsible for the attack. Once there, he is warned off of the case by two local detectives, but his need for retribution over the attack on his family, fuels his quest for revenge.
The typically good natured Caretaker, with his easygoing southern charm, is brought into the darkest place of his life, and those closest to him fear that his anger and his intense desire for revenge may ultimately be his undoing.
