Herbert George Wells was an Enlish writer and publisher. He published his novel "The First Men in the Moon" in 1901. There was a businessman who had some financial problems. He decided to rent a house in a village to write a novel and earn some money. But his neighbour was annoying him by loud noise. It was an eccentric scientist dr. Cavor who wanted to invent a new material. The novel tells us about a journey to the Moon by spaceship which was made from a new fantastic material. It called cavorite. They discovered that the Moon was populated by extraterrestrial civilization of insect-like creatures called "Selenites".
