The Rose
This rose is made of paper; it’s a fact that’s sad but true.
It’s not like the rose that God makes, but it’s the best that I can do.
This rose has never been touched, by the morning dew.
But the tears that I’ve held inside, kept it watered just for you.
This rose is a reminder, of a love that’s surely true.
Because it grew from within my heart, to show that I’ll always love you.
