The Haunted Igloo

For someone afraid of the dark, living in the Arctic is a severe test of courage. Ten-year-old Jean-Paul struggles to hide his fear and adjust to life in the Northwest Territory of Canada, where he is taunted by a group of Inuit boys because of his lameness caused by a birth defect. Forced imprisonment in a "haunted" igloo with only his dog for company proves to be one of the most severe challenges to face Jean-Paul in the harsh Arctic environment, including the impending birth of a sibling when his father is away on business. Now Jean-Paul and his husky must take charge! With the new baby on its way, it's a race against time as he helps his mother to the sled. They must get to the doctor fast! Jean-Paul's afraid they won't make it in time, but Sasha knows exactly what to do--she takes them straight to the Haunted Igloo!
