Following on the heels of the truthful yet very controversial "Prince Malkijah: The Missing Chapter of Book of Mormon History, Geography, and Prophecy" comes "The Nephite Dynasty: The Beginning of Priestcraft and Downfall of Book of Mormon People" adding, even more, truth and controversy that is sure to awaken the interest of Book of Mormon readers everywhere.

The author points out that God was aware two thousand years ago that Joseph Smith would DISOBEY and lose the 116 translated pages but God had a backup plan - TWO THOUSAND YEARS AGO! Furthermore, the author points out that God was also aware that the receivers of the Book of Mormon (Mormons) would fail to obey what it says and fall under a Curse of Condemnation:

54 And your minds in times past have been darkened because of unbelief, and because you have TREATED LIGHTLY THE THINGS YOU HAVE RECEIVED—
55 Which vanity and unbelief have BROUGHT THE WHOLE CHURCH UNDER CONDEMNATION.
56 And this condemnation resteth upon the children of Zion, even all.
57 And they shall remain under this condemnation until they repent and remember the new covenant, even the Book of Mormon and the former commandments which I have given them, NOT ONLY TO SAY, BUT TO DO according to that which I have written—(D&C 84)

The author shows that just as Joseph Smith fell under the curse of a darkened mind for disobeying God, so did Nephi fall under the curse of a darkened mind (fully explained in Prince Malkijah), and in that state he made BAD decisions like the institution of kings and the creation of the kingly-class which led to the eventual downfall of the people of the Book of Mormon.

The author postulates that the same deceiving spirit that got ahold of Nephi also succeeded in influencing Joseph Smith, and they both fell into the same sins (the Council of Fifty anointed Joseph a king) and missed the same opportunities such as:

a. The translation of additional records

b. Being led into Jaredite lands

The author suggests these are important points to consider so modern Mormons can understand what spirit it is that is holding them down still (according to modern Church leaders).

It is now time for them to come out from that curse and to receive the many promised blessings (including happiness), including additional records.
